Acorno Acorns great for crafts

August 26th, 2009

Acorno acorns are great for crafts. We try to make sure each order consists of near perfect acorns with caps. The best acorns for crafts are mature green acorns with caps attached. A pound of acorns usually contains 1/2 mature green acorns with caps, 1/4 cap-less acorns and 1/4 brown acorns.  Acorns are great craft material for center peices and display projects. Fill a jar or bowl with acorns and you have a natural fall setting – which works for centerpeices. You can try these acorn crafts at Martha Stewarts website http://www.marthastewart.com/article/acorn-crafts  Here is an acorn studded mirror. You can make an accorn studded frame or a wrap around to hold a napkin and silverware – perfect display pattern for a fall wedding.  You can use acorns for wreaths or place them in bowls with dried flowers.  Now that we are headed into fall you can try these acorn pumpkins. This is a favorite acorn craft: http://jas.familyfun.go.com/arts-and-crafts?page=CraftDisplay&craftid=11130  You can paint pumpkin faces on acorns. These will look neat around your house. There are many craft projects involving acorns. Find one you will like – go out and pick acorns or order acorns from www.acorno.com
